It's Friday folks, which means we have all survived another week! Today was pay day for me: I'm now on a proper weekly budget. Basically I withdraw my weekly allowance and the aim is to live within my means. Because I am great at living beyond my means, which is very bad and selfish in terms of my relationship. Hangs head in serious shame.
But I've started off well…I went into GAP to buy some jeggings and unbeknownst to me there was 30% off the whole store. So I got my jeggings for 35 euros instead of 50 and I managed not to go wild in the store convincing myself that I needed most of the stuff in there.
Continuing with the theme of money and me buying stuff for myself, I have my eye on 2 items I consider essentials and hope to snag in the post Crimbo sales. These Faith boots and a Topshop Paddington Bear style coat. Do you guys have your eye on anything in particular at the moment? What is it what is it. I will promise to show self restrain and not also tell myself I need your essential clothing items!
I've also started planning Christmas presents: I can't give too much away because the recipients may well read this post (or am I being presumptious in thinking that my friends actually read my blog?!). Suffice to say, I love buying things for other people and am looking forward to it. JB and I are actually getting a sofa together so we're just going to be getting each other something small-ish. That is where I'm good and have lots of ideas. But let me tell you, I am already stressed about his present for next year (he turns 30). What's that? He doesn't look a day over 27? Thanks, I'll pass it onto him J
What items are on your Christmas wish list?
I can't believe it – this Sunday it will be 3 months since I haven't smoked! The final challenge comes in the shape of Marianna and Andrea next weekend: 2 girls who I have always enjoyed smoking (heavily) with. I'm going to ask my sister to be my cigarette policeman next weekend. She can be bossy and scary when she wants to be. Unless she gets too drunk and then my plan will go pear-shaped –just kidding big sis!
Have a lovely weekend!!! Lou xxx
