Hi everyone! Tomorrow is a bank holiday in France (All Saint's Day) so I'm pretty excited at the prospect of a long weekend. I have some fun stuff planned, such as dinner with Frenchies tomorrow, a market with Lauren on Saturday and brunch at Holybelly on Sunday. Maybe even a movie, I'd really love to catch Gravity in 3D. I've also made sure that I have some time set aside to exercise, sleep in and catch up on my TV shows. I've recently understood that frequent exercise and 7/8 hours of sleep a night are my best friends!
I'm also going to make a coffee cake using Joy's recipe for coffee cake muffins.
I really enjoyed this blog post which was a small salute to the recently departed Lou Reed.
I've been enjoying Freya's gorgeous gorgeous posts on her recent trip to Italy.
And have you seen The Accidental Londoner's blog since it got a makeover? I love it!
I really want to see this Richard Curtis movie with Rachel McAdams!
Last night for dinner I made this mashed potato and cauliflower gratin using only organic ingredients and it was absolutely delicious! I added A LOT of garlic. I like garlic.
I've been having fresh juices this week for breakfast and am really liking this new morning ritual. Blenders make life so easy! I tend to use a mix of banana, berries, avocado, peanut butter, soy milk, coconut water, and then i toss in some flax seed and chia seeds and maybe some sunflower seeds.
Do any of you have any juice recipes you'd like to share with me?
I'm going to be travelling to Toulouse, Stockholm and Edinburgh in the coming weeks. If any of you have any recommendations/ideas of things to do, please feel free to leave me a comment!
I hope you all have a great weekend, Lou xxxxx
