Say good afternoon to my lunch-time treat folks!
This is L'Intense, a Parisian patisserie consisting of dark chocolate mousse and raspberry coulis with a chocolate biscuit base.
My colleague and I have had a mouthful (or two) and the rest is tucked back into its cute little box for JB's dessert later this evening : )
Sorry for the background of work files...G*L*A*M*O*R*O*U*S
This is mostly just a post of me blurting out what is going on in my head right now! Lucky you!
I've made the decision to start knitting. I was mostly influenced by Tara Stiles, i'll admit it.
I've ordered this pattern from Wool and the Gang.
Are any of you out there knitting in your spare time? Got any tips for a complete beginner??

I recently downloaded a yoga app, recommended by my namesake blogger Lou.
It's called Yoga Studio and there are classes designed for beginner, intermediate and advanced levels.
The classes focus on flexibility, balance, strength, combination and relax.
So there really is something for everyone.
Last night, i did 30 minutes and at the end i managed a handstand (against a wall obviously!)
Do any of you have other yoga apps you like to use?
Last month I advertised on Rosie's blog. It was an all round positive decision as I noticed an increase in page views and had some new visitors to the blog (welcome welcome, it's lovely to have you here).
Therefore I've decided to advertise again with Rosie for September.
In the quest of enhancing my blog, I've also recently decided to commit to including more French/Paris features, because I feel like i'm not truly representing my blog name.
To kick start this new resolution tomorrow evening I'm meeting with a fellow Paris based blogger, Lauren, who originally hails from Australia!
Watch out for a post next week about the lovely Lauren and her take on Paris life as an expat.
This weekend i'm off to London and i'm really excited to catch up with friends, old and new.
It's going to be a bit of a whirlwind weekend.
On Saturday i'm taking part in the Gloanna yoga run (with The Accidental Londoner) which will take place in Battersea Park. We've then got the afternoon sorted with tea, cake and a manicure.
Saturday evening and Sunday will just be mostly basking in the company of my sister and friends.
What are your plans for the weekend?
I'm going to leave with you one of my favourite French singers, Christophe Mae.
Tombé sous le charme means basically to fall in love.
I like the jazzy bit at the end when he's in New Orleans with a band.
Maybe because JB plays the trombone and likes jazz so I just imagine it is him.
