Crêpe: a thin, light, delicate pancake
We ordered some red wine and a savoury crêpe - mine had egg, cheese and bacon/ham and it was delicious. Tillie had something similar and it truly filled the spot. We also managed to share a dessert crêpe of caramelised baked apples which seemed fitting for the arrival of autumn.
The service was ok (I mean this is Paris where customer service doesn't really exist!) the food was delicious and the wine lovely (I forget the name and didn't take any pictures of the menu but it was a new find). Obviously the company got top marks, Tillie is such a sweet lady and I'm looking forward to seeing more of her at book club. The area itself also has a special ambiance - there are lots of bars and restaurants in this particular area which makes it very lively.
All in all a very nice evening with great company and yummy food.
Do you have any favourite crêpe fillings? I love buckwheat crêpes the best : )
