As the weekend is nearly upon us i thought i would ease you in with some blue skies and a bit of nature.
Maryana kindly sent me these photos which she took during our walk near Beachy Head last week (I can't believe it was just last week, it already feels like much longer).
Her phone is a Samsung and i haven't put a filter on any of these (i also don't believe Maryana did either).
Aren't they gorgeous for a wee humble camera phone?? (That came out a bit Scottish!)
We stumbled across some sort of filming session. We think the man in front of the camera was playing death.
(sadly a lot of people commit suicide at Beachy Head)
So watch out for a movie about death, filmed in Eastbourne and starring a Hollywood A lister at your local cinema folks!
As you can tell from our professional garb, we're seasoned hikers, prepared for all potential mishaps...
After this photo we scuttled to the nearest pub for some cider and shared a peanut butter and chocolate cheesecake.
Good times. Really good times.
It's always hard to leave friends in England because both are (obviously) a huge part of who i am.
It's true, and i always say it, that i get the best of both worlds. France and England.
I am indeed a very lucky girl and it is always real fun to have friends over to Paris.
But it is hard to tear myself away from friends who i'm really close with, who i wish i could go for lunch or drinks or movies with every week. Instead of making do with Whatsapp and Skype.
But i am very well looked after in Paris : ) So i'm going to stop complaining.
I hope you all have a lovely weekend! I'm really looking forward to having JB back tomorrow and hearing all the news from his trip home!
