#blubloggers

Last month I was approached by LSF e-tourisme inviting me to be an Ambassador for the luxury hotel company Radisson Blu in 2014. LSF is a French company specialising in digital marketing and tourism and I'm sure you've all heard of Radisson Blu, one of six hotel brands owned by the Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group.

Along with 11 other European bloggers, I have been approached to participate in four events throughout 2014, the first of which took place in Paris at the Radisson Blu Champs-Elysées in late February. The next will be a stay at one of the Paris boutique hotels, then in May I travel to Milan where the lovely Alessandra will show me all the sights and finally in October, Ashley and Ali, who are based in Amsterdam, will come to Paris.

So why did I say yes to this offer? Mostly because this will be a new experience for my blog and I. There's also the opportunity to do a bit of travel - I have never been to Milan before so I was happy to have been partnered with Alessandra!  Plus I always find it interesting to meet other bloggers with whom I can share ideas and experiences, and from whom I may be able to learn some tricks of the trade.

The Paris meeting, which took place in the Radisson Blu Champs-Elysées and therefore had a distinct business vibe, was a great introduction to the Radisson Blu brand, their "Yes I Can" ethos and what is expected of us as Ambassadors. We were encouraged to stay true to our blogging style and I intend to be 100% transparent with you all in my Radisson Blu posts. It was fun to meet the other Ambassadors as well as to take a tour of Le Metropolitan and Le Dokhan's, two of Radisson's Paris boutique hotels. My favourite was definitely Le Dokhan's because of the champagne bar (the first ever Parisian Champagne bar in fact) and the cosy interior design.

You can follow all the Ambassadors' Blu Radisson adventures by searching Facebook, Twitter and Instagram using the hashtag #blubloggers.
