Well folks, another week has passed us by. Just like that. How has your week gone?
This is the last post i will be writing and publishing with the current design.
The wonderful Charlotte, and fabulous Nicola, from Little Red Creative, have created a very pretty blog design for me and i am so so happy with the results and absolutely cannot wait to start using it (and hearing what you all think of it!)
So, to get to the point of this blog post, here is a lil round up of my week...
I bought my first ever Essie nail varnish this week (watermelon).
My jaw actually dropped when i saw the amount of colours they have...these babies are only 8 dollars in the US, so i shall be stocking up on them when i'm over there.
The one i have my eye on is "first timer" - do you like?
I love the brush and this particular colour only needed one coat.

I always have a book on the go. I think i have become an expert at reading on the metro and blocking out everything to just focus on the book! This week, I finished "Norwegian Wood" which i was sad to get to the end of.
I really need a library membership, but i feel a little caught between the devil and the deep blue sea (i don't know where that came from!) because it's no use me joining a French bibliothèque - I've only read one French book in the 4 years that i have been out here so hopes are not high - but when i looked into a membership at the American Library here in Paris it seemed a little on the steep side. But if i take the leap, i think it will be a really worthwhile investment...what do you reckon?
Yesterday after work i got to meet the gorgeous baby girl of a work colleague! It was fun to catch up with my colleague, and hear about the wonders of motherhood/the less wonderful childbirth/ her Parisian adventures with baby! Plus i got to hold the little Princess who had just been fed, so i think she was happy to be in anybody's arms at that moment. It was so lovely to meet her and see my colleague, who by the way was one of the best advertisements for pregnancy with her amazing attitude, glowing skin and glossy hair - thank you Kelly and Emmanuel for letting me share this moment with you!

Finishing the week with a friend's birthday party is pretty awesome - unless you've had a really crazy week when all you want to do is go home and crawl under the covers.
Luckily for me, this week has not been the crazy kind :)
It's a surprise birthday party as well, they're always fun (but a little stressful to organise)! And I think the birthday girl will really love her present!
I hope you all have a lovely weekend, whatever your plans may be!
